Giving at Holy Trinity

Generous giving accounts for a significant percentage of our income. Your giving in support of God's work is what enables much at HTL to happen.

Ways to Give

Bank Transfer

This is the most efficient way of giving in that the total amount of your gift comes to us without fees. You can transfer your gift to our bank account:

  • Bank: Lloyds Bank
  • Sort Code: 30-96-18
  • Account: 0047 4507

It would be helpful if your name was included in the reference so we know who the gift came from.

Online Giving

You can use your debit/credit card and give securely online via ChurchSuite Donate

Mobile Giving

If you have an Android or Apple phone, you can give using the app CrossPay Giving, available from Google Play or the App Store using your credit/debit card.

  2. Choose CrossPay Giving.

Gift Aid

Holy Trinity is a registered charity (#1132601) meaning we can recoup the tax you have already paid on your gift. This enables us to increase your gift value by 25%. If you are able to use Gift Aid, please download, fill in and  return this form.

About

We believe that a vital part of belonging is helping to ‘pay the bills’. Making a regular financial contribution to the work of the local church is not only biblical but a very practical way of standing shoulder to shoulder with the whole church and demonstrating your commitment and support. We teach that everyone should have a plan for giving, seeking to be a generous giver. 10% is the standard we each aim for, with opportunities to give beyond this as God calls us to.

The work of HTL, including staff salaries and property, are all financed from the contributions of its members. Additional income is raised through the commercial letting of our facilities to selected local charities and businesses for the upkeep of these facilities. A full financial report, audited accounts and annual budget are published each year and made available at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. The elected PCC scrutinises and authorises expenditure throughout the year.

In addition, 10% of your giving received by HTL is given in charitable aid to our selected mission links and shorter term mission opportunities. Occasionally we will take up special offerings in the event of a disaster or a missionary endeavour, etc. These are taken in addition to regular giving.

Visitors to the church are under no obligation to give.
