At Holy Trinity Leicester we have Mission Shaped Communities specifically for those in their aged 18-20 and more broadly in their twenties and thirties. One of these is HTL Students specifically for those studying at either Leicester or De Montfort Universities. Others are for those in this age bracket, both single and married, in employment, between jobs, at other places of study or in Leicester as a mature student. Together they recognise that this is the missing generation of the church and seek to reach their peers with the good news of Jesus. They do this by seeking to be culturally relevant, creating community, supporting one another in the transitions of life, worshipping, studying scripture and prayer, being friends and family and having genuine fun.
We are community of missional disciples, loved and led by God passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with student in Leicester and beyond.
At Holy Trinity we have a vibrant, dynamic and growing student community of students from both De Montfort University and University of Leicester. We know that Uni can be some of the most important years of people’s lives and so we are committed to build loving relationships with students, meet them at their point of need and see them transformed by the love of Jesus. We are committed to equipping students for mission on campus and sharing their lives with friends. There is lots going on throughout the year and o much to get involved in
Plus One is a community of young adults seeking to follow Jesus and share the gospel.
We love one another, have fun together and seek God’s Kingdom. We will often spend time at each other’s homes, or hang out at a café or the pub. We’re also keen to follow the example of Jesus in all we do, whether that’s at work, or with our friends who don’t come to church, and we support one another in living as a disciple. We spend time with God, and seek to honour Him in all we say and do.
Connected to Jesus; seeing those we know transformed by his love
Vine is a group of people, predominantly in their 20s and 30s who meet regularly to study the Bible, deepen our relationship with Jesus, encourage one another in our mission together, worship, share food and testimonies, and keep one another accountable in our faith.
